Our 2021 highlights

January 11 2022 – Cecily Morgan

Thank you for choosing the animals in 2021!

2021 was a great year for Critically Endangered. With the release of our pyjamas, sweatshirts, and - of course - new socks we were able to donate  £1,954 to WWF and help World Land Trust to protect 12,860 metres squared of rainforest.

We have even bigger plans for 2022 but for now we’re reflecting on our favourite moments from 2021…

Fearne Cotton becoming a Critically Endangered fan

At the start of the year Fearne Cotton gave Critically Endangered the style-icon seal of approval. After choosing to rock our panda socks in a Grazia photoshoot, she expressed her love for us with these kind words - “I adore animals and socks so Critically Endangered are my dream brand”. It’s almost a year later and we’re still pinching ourselves.

Releasing our tiger-saving pyjamas

In November we launched our very first pair of pyjamas, allowing everyone to sleepwalk into a better world for tigers. A dreamy experience for us, for our customers and for the world’s endangered tigers.

These are selling fast so if you haven’t got a pair yet, you’d better hurry…

Collaborating with Jane Goodall

In December we teamed up with the Jane Goodall Institute to release a limited edition run of chimpanzee-saving socks. Jane has always been one of our heroes; our founder Dom Desmond states that she’s, “an inspiration, a force for change and has done wonderful things for our closest relatives, the chimps”. So - as you can imagine - this collaboration really meant the world to us (and to the chimpanzees!).

We couldn’t have achieved all these things without our wonderful, animal-loving customers so thank you to everyone who bought from us this year - you’re helping to make the world a better place for animals.

2022 will bring new products, new collaborations, and even more ways to save endangered species. We hope you’re as excited as we are!
